Under a tight timeframe of just two days, Nike asked WSDIA to design a case for their NFL pro athletes. After brainstorming, sketching, and researching materials and fittings, WSDIA arrived at three directions. The chosen concept, ‘Gridiron’, was a mix of triangular geometry and battle armor encompassed in duffle bag form. The exterior case was made from dibond/aluco-bond, and the interior cut foam that held the Nike product was custom CNC waterjet cut foam.
