Darcstudio are image artisans centered uniquely around architecture. The team is constructed of former architects and designers positioned to reimagine and infuse emotion into the work. Darcstudio’s imagery is a process of craft, refinement and often reduction to distill a pure architectural idea or moment.

WSDIA took cues from Darcstudio’s love for the square, 1:1 ratio as a starting point, creating a system that can simultaneously live at the forefront or take a backseat to the imagery. We designed a custom full-caps typeface inspired by Eric Gill’s Perpetua, which had been used in Darcstudio's original identity.
